TAYLOR REACHES #1 ON BILLBOARD HOT 100 CHARTTaylor Swift, who released her lead single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” from her forthcoming album, Red, just last week, has set the new all-genre record for female digital song sales.
Billboard reports, “It's official: Taylor Swift has set the record for the biggest digital sales week ever for a song by a woman. ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ sold 623,000 in the week ending Aug. 19 -- according to Nielsen SoundScan -- and it thus debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Digital Songs chart. Not only is it the best week ever for a woman, but the second-largest ever overall. Swift also nets the largest debut week among women.” In addition, in only one full week of release, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” has claimed the #1 position atop Billboard’s Hot 100 all-format singles chart, which factors in both sales and radio airplay. The single debuted in the Top 20 on several of Billboard’s radio airplay charts: the Pop Songs, Adult Pop Songs, Country Songs and Adult Contemporary Charts. This marks Taylor’s 11th #1 across multiple formats, including Number Ones on the Billboard 200, Digital Songs, Radio Songs, Pop Songs, Country Songs and Country Albums charts, among others. Worldwide, the single has already reached the #1 position atop the iTunes charts in 32 countries. Red will be released on October 22nd on Big Machine Records in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Japan, and by Universal Music Group International in the rest of the world. Universal Republic handles non-country radio for the project in the U.S. Taylor announced the album and released the single last week during a live YouTube webchat. You Tube reported that the event was watched live by more than 488,000 people worldwide and has now been viewed more than 1.1 million total times. Taylor thanked the fans via Twitter, writing, “I want to thank you guys for giving me my biggest first week ever with "We Are Never." I can't stop smiling. You guys are amazing!!” posted on August 22, 2012

TAYLOR'S NEW ALBUM, RED, SET FOR RELEASE ON OCTOBER 22NDTaylor Swift’s highly-anticipated fourth studio album will be released worldwide on October 22nd, Taylor herself announced this evening during a live YouTube web chat with her fans.
Entitled Red, the album will be released on Big Machine Records and contains 16 tracks. After writing her last album (Speak Now) entirely by herself, for this record Taylor collaborated with several artists, producers, and songwriters she had always wanted to work with. “For the last two years, I've been working on an album called Red,” Taylor says. “I called it Red because of the tumultuous, crazy adventures in love and loss that it chronicles. In my mind, when you experience love that's fast paced and out of control and mixes infatuation, jealousy, frustration, miscommunication, and all of those lovely emotions…in retrospect, it all looks red.” The first single from Red, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” (written by Taylor Swift, Max Martin, Shellback) has already arrived at radio and will be available today at iTunes and Google Play, and beginning tomorrow worldwide at all digital retail outlets. Album pre-sale dates will be announced in the coming weeks. Taylor’s YouTube chat can be viewed in its entirety here: www.youtube.com/taylorswift posted on August 13, 2012

Taylor Swift and Elizabeth Arden introduce Wonderstruck EnchantedFollowing the success of Wonderstruck, one of the most influential celebrity fragrance launches of 2011, multi-Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter and beauty icon Taylor Swift introduces Wonderstruck Enchanted. The new fragrance launches in October 2012 at prestige stores nationwide.
THE INSPIRATION Taylor, herself, is the muse for Wonderstruck Enchanted – forever captivating and always confident. Wonderstruck Enchanted continues the magical journey, from the first spark of connection to that moment when you know you’re enchanted. THE FRAGRANCE An Oriental Gourmand, Wonderstruck Enchanted introduces a new dimension to the Wonderstruck portfolio, with an irresistible blend of luscious wild berries and sugar-glazed petals, wrapped in a touch of sensuality for a captivating signature. Wonderstruck Enchanted’s addictive balance of creamy flowers and sensual woods blends harmoniously and adds an alluring quality to the fragrance. THE PACKAGING The bold crimson bottle glows with Wonderstruck’s signature iridescent finish. Bejeweled with a cluster of antiqued gold charms hand-selected by Taylor, the bottle takes on a vintage feel. The charms on the Wonderstruck Enchanted bottle represent natural beauty, things we find in the world that don’t have to be anything more than what they are naturally – a bird, a flower, a leaf, a sparking crystal. And on this bottle, all the charms have a more antiqued look to them, which reflects Taylor’s personal style. The carton carries elements of the original Wonderstruck packaging, including the signature gold frame and embossed 13. Its rich red color palette, adorned with gold swirls and gilded script, reflects Taylor’s unique style. “Wonderstruck Enchanted is the next chapter in the story of my Wonderstruck fragrance. Wonderstruck is about that moment when you instantly feel a connection to someone, but then there’s that feeling of being completely enamored – enchanted -- when you know a little more about that someone and still feel that strong connection.” - Taylor Swift posted on June 29, 2012
